Our mission
CCDO, an organization with a shared vision and mission to support rural communities in improving their livelihood and alleviating poverty. Mission; To develop adolescent girls and women as entrepreneurs while taping their potentials and imparting training for their skill diversification and becoming self-sufficient as part of the social enterprise of the low-cost sanitary napkin business and our responsibility to society as a whole.
With training and mentorship provided in our centre - 80% get qualifications and provide positive results.
THe goal
The main goal of the Hope Textile Project is to produce low cost and accessible sanitary ware for school going girls and young women hence; minimize the number of days girls missed going to school, create socio-economic acceptance of the innovative product, develop sanitary pads for commercial production and marketing and document all steps in the development process as learning and monitoring tool.
CCDO intends to build an enterprise model on a pilot basis in the working areas where group(s) of women would be fostered to run the business by themselves with handholding support.
