Menstrual hygiene Management in tanzania
CCDO developed Hope Industries in order to ensure that we address Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) intervention in urban areas and slums; we plan to produce sanitary towels using a low-cost machine aimed at improving hygiene and eco-friendly usage by underprivileged women and adolescent girls in poor neighbourhoods and slums in Tanzania.
These pads will be sold to young school girls and women in slum areas, made cheaper and affordable to this group of women. Our idea is unique in terms of our low-cost, mini sanitary pads making machine. Compared to the modern production model which requires millions of dollars, yet the quality is the same.
